What to expect at Montana Kids Dental

During your first visit, our team will review your dental and medical history forms and will address any concerns that you may have. The dental assistant will take necessary x-rays of your teeth and then will clean and polish your teeth. Once your teeth are cleaned, one of our dentists will then meet with you to discuss your x-rays, complete an oral evaluation, and evaluate your child’s growth and development of their head, neck and joints.

The Doctor will explain, in detail, any treatment your child may need. We will schedule any needed treatment before you leave, or we will schedule your 6-month follow-up visit.

Our comprehensive & thorough examination will include:

• Evaluating your child’s oral hygiene and overall dental health
• Teaching hygiene instructions
• Taking x-rays
• Examining for any existing decay
• Fluoride Treatment

Expect your visit to last about 30 to 45 minutes.
